Thank you for your interest in UBW’s 2012 Summer Leadership Institute. Please read ALL the instructions below before starting your submission.

3. Application Process
Upon submitting payment, click "Return to Urban Bush Women" on the receipt page and you will be forwarded to a page that contains the link to the 2012 SLI Application.
Please use the application worksheet to prepare your answers prior to filling out the online application as the electronic form only provides one chance to submit. In addition to completing be sure to email your resume, photo, financial need statement (if applicable), and your two essay responses to sli@urbanbushwomen.org.
- The subject of your email must be in the following format:
- 2012 SLI Application FirstName_LastName
- Photo should be in .jpeg format and no more than 100KB. Save photo as:
- FirstName_LastName_Photo.jpeg
- Resume should be in .pdf format and no more than 2 pages. Save resume as:
- FirstName_LastName_Resume.pdf (send as a pdf)
- Financial Need Staetment should be in .pdf format and no more than 1 page.
- Save statement as:
- FirstName_LastName_FinancailNeedStatement.pdf (send as a pdf)
- Essays should be in .pdf format and no more than 1 page each. Save Essays as:
- FirstName_LastName_Essays.pdf (send as a pdf)
Only applications received through the online portal will be accepted. After submitting your application fee you will have access to the application by clicking "Return to Urban Bush Women" on the receipt page.
IMPORTANT: Have your application answers prepared before clicking the link to the online application. You will only have one time to submit.

INTERNSHIPS
There are two types of internships for this years SLI. While the primary responsibility for interns is their administrative duties, interns do get to participate in most classes and workshops leading up to the culminating performance.
1. Administrative + Performance: These interns assist with a variety of administrative duties leading up to the final performance, assist their cohort leaders/choreographers with preparing for the performance, and perform with their cohort. These interns are eligible for a full tuition scholarship.
2. Administrative + Production: These interns assist with a variety of administrative duties leading up to the final performance and assist the SLI Coordinators with producing with the performance. These interns are eligible for a full tuition scholarship and a full housing scholarship.
