2012 UBW Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) Payment and Withdrawal Policy
Payment Policy and Schedule
- Application Fee $35. All applicants must submit the non-refundable application fee in order to receive the online application link. This fee is not credited toward tuition.
- Tuition $850
- Housing $380 for double occupancy and $470 for single occupancy
- Scholarships and Internships available
- By May 4, a 50% deposit of all tuition and housing fees are due to reserve your place in the program. $150 of this deposit is non-refundable.
- All participants wear a 2012 SLI t-shirt as their costume for the culminating performance. T-shirts are $15 and payment is due with the June 8 payment.
- In some cases, UBW will accept a payment plan to accommodate special needs. A request for this consideration must be made by April 9 by email to sli@urbanbushwomen.org.
- Participants will be charged $100 for lost or unreturned keys.
- Participants will be charged for any damages to the room.

- May 4 - Confirmation of Attendance & 50% Deposit Due
- May 7- Wait List Opens
- May 18 - Wait List Confirmation of Attendance & 50% Deposit Due
- June 8 - T-shirt fee & remaining 50% Payment Due
Withdrawal Policy
- All paid tuition (less $150 nonrefundable deposit) and housing fees will be refunded only if written notice of withdrawal is received by May 31.
- After May 31, refunds of tuition (less $150 deposit) will only be granted for medical reasons. A submission of a signed note from a doctor is required by fax or email to 718-398-4783, sli@urbanbushwomen.org.
