UBW has been at the forefront of activating the intersections of professional/community art-making, civic engagement, leadership, and group dynamics for over two decades. In this intensive workshop, participants will be introduced to UBW’s core frameworks and practices for culturally-rooted community engagement and organizing. The weekend will also have a particular focus on the histories and issues most relevant to New Orleans.
