Join UBW Company Member Stephanie Mas for UBW's Hair Party: A Workshop for the White Organizer's Expressive Body Committed to Undoing Racism.

The workshop is an interactive convening and dialogue for the white organizer's experessive body committed to undoing racism. Through dialogue and guided movement we will:

- Explore what it means to create equitable spaces

- Learn what it means to be an active ally

We will be hosted by Bailey's Cafe in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

Message from Stephanie:

I am here today because I want to be in community with other white people who are committed to undoing racism. I want to create a space where we can look inward, share our experiences and move out of a theoretical space to become aware of how the construct of race manifests inside of us and affects us. I want us to regain our humanity because we have all been dehumanized. It is imperative to work from an active space that is inward, where our experiences, our stories are required in order to move into that transformational space to be an active ally. It is my desire for us to strengthen our muscles, be vulnerable, and lean into the uncomfortable so that we can be our most courageous and rooted selves as we join forces with POC’s to undo Racism.
