Audrey Elaine Hailes

Audrey Elaine Hailes (she/hers/we/ours) is a dance-theatre artist based up and down the Eastern Seaboard. She currently works with Maria Bauman as associate artistic director of MBDance, and has had the privilege of performative and collaborative relationships with Paloma McGregor, Ebony Golden, The Dance Cartel, Nina Angela Mercer and Okwui Okpokwasili, amongst others. Audrey has, for several years, served as movement director and video editor for New York University's Abu Dhabi Reality Show. Our own choreography has been commissioned by Gibney Dance, Dance Theatre Etc, Movement Research, BAAD! and New York Live Arts. We are always grateful to be able to tell stories that honor ancestors and reflect the bright black future.
