*Bring your notebooks, cameras, small instruments, and baggies for collecting vegetation.

We will focus on:

• Connecting with each other and our environment.

• Collecting information. Learning about the vegetation of Prospect Park with attention to the plants that are edible and medicinal.

• Preserving. We are building our knowledge base and relationship with our environment so that we can better care and protect. Our guide says, we'll walk the land differently once we know what we're walking on.

Bring your young people! Let them carry this information forward!
